EMOTION SYNTHESIS — SIMULATED EMOTIONS THROUGH ONION TRIGGER
[Collaboration with Elliott Montgomery and Daniel Foster-Smith]

Living in a future society of overall control might not be as easy as we assume. Pressure and increasing overstimulation could create an atmosphere where people might have lost their emotional sensitivity. People may wish to experience simulations of empathy and sensitivity they once had naturally. ‘The Emotion Synthesis- Machine’ explores the possibilities that affective sciences raised and offers a service to show an interaction between machine, molecules and the aspect of force in it. The machine addresses sensual inputs like sound, smell and visuals which make a person cry. What if generated tears affect the emotional state in the same way natural ones do?
