Current sciences progress at an exponential pace – my practise aims therefore to mediate the intersection of emerging technology, science, society and design. Using a wide range of media such as objects, illustrations, video as well as artistic and scientific collaborations, I hope to encourage the public to question and reassess their relationship towards technology.

2011 Design Advisor at Cambridge University
This summer I was invited by Prof. Jim Haseloff to take part in a two- week Synthetic Biology crash course being held at the Plant Sciences Department of Cambridge University. The University of Cambridge has an annual team entry in the international Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition in Synthetic Biology. The initial crash course led to working as Design Advisor ,supporting this year's iGEM-tea of Cambridge University for four months with consulting, ideation, brainstorms, workshops and filming.
2008 - 09 Project "MµGUARD"
Commissioned for the concept and design of the pilot study - a wearable long-time electrocardiogram system including a defibrillator. Collaborative Project with Metrax GmbH, Elovis GmbH, Vitaphone GmbH, FZI Karlsruhe and the University Clinical Centre in Tubingen. Initiated and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Germany. "MµGUARD" was exhibited at the "Medica" autumn 2009 and is currently developed for its product launch in 2015.
2006 - 07 Internship with frog design
Working in the Stuttgart office of global design firm frog design on various projects for clients such as: Amoena, Bayer Schering, Leitz, Merian, Novo Nordisk, Ritzenhoff and Philipp Morris.
